SixQs is a Chrome extension that summarizes news articles using the 5Ws and 1H technique (What, Who, Where, When, Why, and How). The extension uses Chrome’s built-in AI capabilities when available, with a fallback to remote AI services when necessary.

- Summaries are generated by AI and may contain errors
- We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or reliability of summaries
- Summaries are for informational purposes only
- You should verify important information from original sources
Original Content Rights
- SixQs does not claim ownership of articles you summarize
- Summaries are derivative works generated for personal use
- Copyright of original articles remains with their publishers
- Use summaries in compliance with applicable copyright laws
Wikipedia Content
- Wikipedia content is subject to Wikipedia’s licensing terms
- We provide Wikipedia information for reference only
Service Availability
Uptime
- We strive to keep SixQs available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time
- Maintenance may temporarily limit functionality
Local AI Requirements
- Chrome’s built-in AI features may not be available on all devices
- Fallback services will be used when local AI is unavailable
- We do not guarantee availability of either local or fallback services
Supported Websites
- We support major news websites as listed in the extension
- Supported website list may change without notice
- We do not guarantee compatibility with all news sites
Third-Party Services
SixQs integrates with:
- Firebase (authentication and database)
- Gemini API (fallback summarization)
- Wikipedia API (additional information)
These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or practices.
Fees and Payment
- SixQs is currently free to use
- We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future
- Any future fees will be communicated in advance
Disclaimer of Warranties
